You might want to limit how many TikToks you watch before going to bed because, according to sleep experts, it could not only affect your sleep schedule, but also your dreams!
Now we're not ones to judge if you need a good scroll through TikTok to wind down for the night, but according to a new study in Frontiers in Psychology nightmares and normal dreams are usually focused on the things we think or worry about the most when awake.
Whether that's work, relationships, or embarrassing moments, they somehow find their way into your dreams and if you spend a good chunk of time trying to learn a dance from TikTok then it will seep in just the same.
At the same time, TikTok also gives us a "dopamine-kick," which can also give us a hard time trying to fall asleep because we're so excited over that last video. This also leads to more intense dreams because you get less sleep.
To learn more from the study you can go HERE and you might want to put a 15-minute pause on TikTok before going to bed this week!
