It was announced this week that the next season of RuPaul's Drag Race All Stars will have a new home on the Showtime premium cable network. Fans of the show have strong opinions about the show's move away from basic cable channel VH1. It does not appear that this "Special Edition" of All Stars will be the season announced to have celebrity contestants. The new season of All Stars is set to premiere just in time for Pride Month on Friday, June 5th at 8/7c.
According to TV Line, the fifth season will see fan favorites from past seasons battle it out for a $100,000 cash prize.
