Here's a story of a first date that turned into a nightmare . . . and not just because it was a date at Denny's.
A woman in Palm Coast, Florida met a guy on a dating site and they got together last Wednesday night for a date at Denny's. And apparently it went well, because they hopped into the guy's car to head back to the woman's house.
But a cop pulled them over because of a problem with the guy's tags. And instead of stopping . . . the guy took off, and they wound up in a high-speed chase with the cops.
Eventually he pulled over and ran into the woods. The woman got out of the car and told the cops she didn't have anything to do with the chase . . . in fact, she didn't even know the guy's last name.
She wasn't arrested . . . and the cops are still trying to track down the guy.
