While a lot of people go on vacation to relax or explore, there are also plenty of people looking for a completely different experience, namely romance.
A new poll by Dating.com reveals there are plenty of people who find romance while on vacation, with 59% of those polled saying they feel “bolder and more empowered to meet someone while travelling.”
So, what’s so appealing about a vacation romance? Well, 68% say they are more open to try new things while on vacation, especially because there’s an expiration date on travel relationships. What’s more, 93% say a vacation romance actually prompted them to try new things at home.
But unfortunately most people aren’t likely to find “The One” while on vacation. In fact, 87% of folks said their romance didn’t last beyond the trip.

- United Kingdom
- Thailand
- Napa Valley (wine makes anyone look good)
- Brazil
- Berlin
