Ashdown Forest, the inspiration for Winnie the Pooh's "Hundred Acre Wood" went up in flames overnight as a fire swept across six acres of land, reported by Telegraph.
The place that inspired the "Hundred Acre Wood" is located in East Sussex, England, and is actually 500-acres big.
The cause of the fire is unknown but firefighters are afraid that people are lighting 'disposable barbecues in the forest or tossing cigarette ends into the undergrowth' is the reason for this, but they haven't ruled out arson. It's the second fire in 2 months to ravage the forest.
Don't be stupid people, PUT OUT FIRES. DON'T JUST THROW OUT CIGARETTE BUTTS.
