Avengers: Endgame went above that and earned $60 MILLION LAST NIGHT ALONE.
While Star Wars: The Force Awakens holds the best opening day of all-time (which includes Thursday night into all day Friday to be clear) with $119.1 million, projections have Avengers: Endgame surpassing $120 million.
Honestly, I saw it twice last night, only planning to go once, but as soon as the first time ended, I went right back in to a 3-D showing because yes. It's THAT incredible. Do yourself a favor and don't wait any longer.
