But did you know that Pit Bulls used be known as the "nanny dog" because of how gentle they are with children? Well, it was proven once again in Stockton, California.
According to ABC13, the pup started acting strangely, so the baby's mom opened the door so the dog could go in and the dog took off running and barking. The baby, Masailah, had made her way into the back bedroom, where a fire had began to spread. By the time the mom got back there, the dog, Sasha, was already dragging Masailah to safety.
