"Empire" actor/singer, Jussie Smollett, has been officially indicted on 16 felony counts by the grand jury.
The Cook County State's Attorney's Office has confirmed the indictment.
The grand jury has returned 16 felony counts of disorderly conduct, following the whirlwind 'attack' that he supposedly staged back in February.
He's been charged on 2 different sets:
- Related to what Smollett told the officers originally about the attack.
- Towards the second interview Smollett had that same day.
