It looks like DC's Birds of Prey film is actually going to happen as the film has found its Huntress and Black Canary with Mary Elizabeth Winstead and Jurnee Smollett-Bell,!!
According to Variety, the Winstead will play the role of Huntress, who was an on-again, off-again love interest in Arrow while Smollett-Bell will be playing a version of Black Canary, whose character can still be technically seen in Arrow as well!
The pair will join Margot Robbie, who is reprising her role as Harley Quinn from Suicide Squad in the upcoming DC Comics-based film.
The rumored villain for the film is potentially Black Mask, who has been a consistent villain in the Batman franchise. The current frontrunners for that role are Ewan McGregor and Sharlto Copley.
The untitled Birds of Prey film will be directed by Cathy Yan and is currently schedule to release in theaters next year on February 7, 2020.
