Most fast food aficionados know In-N-Out has a “secret menu” that isn’t really a secret among the chain’s many fans. However, you may not be aware of an almost mythical item you can get your hands on at certain Wendy’s locations: a behemoth known as the “T-Rex burger.”
Wendy’s in Manitoba made waves when it added a new item to its menu in the form of the 'T-Rex burger', which featured nine fresh, never-frozen beef patties that were each topped with cheese sandwich between two buns that also contained all of the usual fixing of the works. Though the burger sounds ridiculous, it was initially dreamed up as a prank by Sports Illustrated, which ran a fake ad for the item. However, it became a very real thing close to a decade later when a franchisee in the city of Brandon started selling the offering which cost $21.99 on its own and $24.99 for people who felt the need to throw a drink and some fries into the mix.
I can’t tell you why these videos are suddenly taking off when you consider they were originally posted in 2024, but something tells me more than a few Wendy’s locations are going to be fielding orders for these big boys over the next couple of weeks.
