According to reports, former Nats star Juan Soto has agreed to a record $765 million, 15-year contract with the New York Mets.
If you do the math, that's $51 Million per year. A deal that could escalate to $805 million and is believed to be the largest pact in team sports history. The deal also includes as $75 million signing bonus.
Soto was 19 when he made his major league debut with Washington in 2018 and helped the Nationals win the World Series the following year.
