You May Want To Avoid Using This Button In Your Car

We are all on the same page when it comes to not knowing what each and every button in our cars means, and that is completely normal as long as you can remember to NOT press this button! The button in question is the ever important traction control button.

If you don't know what that button does, that is completely okay! That's why i'm here, your car enthusiast informant if you will! Whether brand new or pre-loved, modern cars are full of all kinds of buttons and gadgets to get used to when you get the keys and sit in the driver's seat.

The average driver may not even realize they have this button but if you look closely, your car contains a button with a vehicle and a windy road above it. This button is your traction control button and this button is major when it comes to controlling your car in hazardous conditions such as rain or ice. Once pressed, the anti-skid system will automatically turn off. When turning or accelerating sharply, the vehicle is very likely to slip or roll over.

You should not touch it in many instances because it essentially weakens your control of the car at high speeds and when cornering. While turning off your traction control may benefit you on a racetrack, it can be a major hazard on the main roads and you are highly prohibited from pushing the button!

Now that you have a little more insight, will you think twice before you press an unknown button in your car?
