Ok this is so cool! Virginia
Virginia State Parks is installing viewfinders to help people with red-green color blindness to fully experience the vibrant autumn leaf displays.
Virginia State Parks have equipped all 43 of their properties with special viewfinders made to help colorblind people distinguish colors. The viewfinders use lenses made by EnChroma and allow colorblind visitors to see a broader spectrum of colors.
The initiative was started in 2023 and aims to enhance accessibility for people with Color Vision Deficiency (CVD), which affects millions of people around the world. The project is part of Virginia’s commitment to making natural beauty more accessible to all.
