Like animals, humans are breeders but more specifically, we can be seasonal breeders! Seasonality optimizes when babies are born. For example, in the spring when the weather warms and the grass increases, sheep give birth. Their late fall breeding season starts five months ahead of schedule.
Many species conserve energy by moving around as little as possible in the winter, whether that means resting underground in burrows where food is kept and the temperature is pleasant, like bears do. It's important to keep this in mind as we humans coined Sep- Dec "cuffing Season"
That may be due to the weather cooling down and holiday festivities are near. That may be why singles are "feeling themselves" during this season. Much like animals who know when to hibernate humans know when it's primal mating season and in this case it's : Fall.
