A Bald Eagle was found on Wilson’s Creek National Battlefield in Missouri and originally they thought he was injured. They took him to a rehab center to care for him, but it turns out he wasn't injured he had just eaten too much raccoon roadkill.
According to Wilson’s Creek National Battlefield's facebook post:
The eagle has been rehabilitated and released back into the park. The bird, originally reported to be injured, was found to be healthy but engorged with racoon --- in other words, too fat to fly.
