Prime Video Is FINALLY Fixing This Issue!

If you watch Prime Video, you are aware of what a horrifying nightmare it can be to use.

The tv series' and films that are available to Prime members for "free" are mixed in with those that require purchase or rental fees, as well as those that are part of supplemental subscription packages; it's simply a stressful process! When you think you've finally found the show or movie you want to watch for the night, you're rudely met with "purchase/rent for ____" and it quite honestly ruins the mood and i'd rather sleep.

It seems like *fingers crossed* Amazon heard our complaints and is going to be rolling out a new feature to separate content you can and can't watch for free. The god-awful interface is going to receive a new tab that will exclusively contain programs and films that are included in the subscription. Yes, of course you would think it already had that, but no, it didn’t.

Amazon teased the new feature on their website, saying they are "bringing clarity and simplicity back to streaming."

If I’m enormously in the mood to watch White Chicks and I can’t find it on any of the 37 streaming services I’m subscribed to, then having the option to pay a couple of bucks to rent it for the evening is a boon. The issue is having it appear front-and-centre on the Prime Video app that I pay a stupid amount of money for, and then finding out it was a trick.

There will also now be tabs for add-ons you’ve bought, like Max, Paramount+ and Crunchyroll, singling out their shows and films too, along with the ability to manage those subscriptions within the platform. Though these claims are confirmed, we don't have an exact date when these updates will roll out!
