Attention, all car enthusiasts!
Rolls-Royce recently announced the new Arcadia Droptail, which retails for a measly $31 million and is currently the most expensive car in the world!
If you think that’s expensive for a single car,? Well, just wait until you see what you can get for the same cost as around 1,294 Honda Civics.
To start off, let's begin with the clock in the Rolls-Royce Arcadia Droptail. The clock reportedly took five months to assemble.
The high-density Santos straight grain wood sections took 8,000 hours to create (that’s about 11 months). A total of 233 wood pieces were installed throughout the car, with 76 pieces applied to the rear deck alone.
After the application of a bespoke lacquer similar to that used on superyahts, the veneer pieces were then tested in a intense cycle inside a machine simulating global weather extremes to test durability in all weather conditions!
The main body color is a solid white infused with alluminium and glass particles, which creates a sparkling glimmer as light hits the coachwork, but closer examination reveals that the paint gives the impression of infinite depth.
The leather interior is finished in two colors named after the client who ordered the Droptail and is reserved exclusively for them to use.
With all that mesmerizing information about the Arcadia Droptail, no wonder it's named the Arcadia, which in in Ancient Greek mythology means “Heaven on Earth.’
