Did you know the way you carry your laptop can actually cause injury? If you've noticed wrist or back ache it could be from the way you are carrying your laptop.
If you carrying your laptop with one hand or with the laptop open, don't. Patrick Maloney, the lead athletic trainer at Tulane Institute of Sports Medicine in New Orleans, says quote:
“Laptops are getting lighter and lighter. But still, that’s like three or four pounds of levered weight on your wrist. And so that can lead to a common condition called the de Quervain’s syndrome. And it’s basically like a tendinitis on the wrist.”
Instead you should use both hands to carry the laptop if it's open. If it's closed you should carry it like a book under your arm do the laptop is parallel to your hip.
