According to experts, there are some subtle signs that will tell you if your pup is in love.
A study by Canine Cottages found that a dog's heart rate will increase up to 116% when they greet their besties.
Some signs that your pup might be in love include:
- Sharing - They are happy to share their toys, water bowls, sleeping space, etc.
- Body Language - Tails wagging, tongue out, also how they're standing will shows a level of comfort with the other dog.
- They are vocal - This includes light-hearted barks, whines, moaning and even higher-pitched "shrieks of joy"
- Playtime- sometimes this can look like there are doing a dance when they are playing.
