Social Jet Lag is Real and it's NOT Good for Your Health.

Do you feel extra tired after a night out? It's because Social Jet Lag is a REAL thing!!!

It happens when you change up your regular sleep schedule on the weekends, i.e. staying up late and sleeping in. Those who experience social jet lag the most are adolescents and young adults.

The issue with social jet lag is there can be some serious health consequences. It's been linked to an increased risk of:

  • heart disease
  • obesity
  • diabetes
  • depression
  • decreased academic performance


The solution? Try to maintain your sleep schedule, even on the weekends. try to go to bed & wake up at the same time every day.
