Ok so what is an "active couch potato?"
it's basically someone who works out daily & then sits on the couch (or is inactive) the rest of the day. It might sounds like they cancel each other out-- no harm no foul, right? Not exactly. According to a new study sitting for prolonged periods of time actually cancels out the benefits of your workout.
The study, found that people who exercises for 30 mins a day, but then didn't move for long periods during the day had higher blood sugar, cholesterol and body fat compared others who moved more.
