We've all heard it a million times. To figure out your dogs age, multiple the years by 7 because one dog year is equal to 7 human year. But according to new research that number isn't accurate... it's way off.
Researchers from the University of California San Diego’s School of Medicine claim instead of 1 human year equaling 7 dog years, it's actually closer to 30 dog years. This team has developed a formula to more accurately calculate a dogs age and it's based on the chemical changes in the DNA.
