These Newlyweds Flipped A Coin To See Who Takes Whose Last Name

To love and cherish from this day forward

This might be one new wedding tradition we all get behind because a bride and groom have both gone viral for leaving their last name up to a coin toss at their wedding ceremony!

The couple went viral on TikTok, which you can see below, by ditching the tradition of taking on the groom's last name and letting their last name be decided by flipping a coin.

Obviously it would work better for couples who don't have a strong tie to their last name, but if you're looking to add something new to your wedding besides hyphenating your last names together then this could be a great thing to do.

What do you think about the tradition? Would you be okay with taking on your partner's last name if you both had a 50/50 shot of technically winning?
