Friendly reminder that St. Patrick's Day is this weekend so make sure you wear green, but also remember that Maryland has a Guinness Brewery in its backyard for you to properly celebrate the holiday, which is why they've also released a "breakfast beer."
For St. Patrick's Day 2022, Guinness's American-based Maryland brewery has released a beer called "Guinness Breakfast Tea Amber" that was brewed with morning drinking in mind in case you really need something to get the afternoon going with brunch.
The 4.8% ABV ale has been around since the brewery's first St. Patrick's Day celebration in 2019, but this year it is also being sold in four-packs of 16-ounce cans and is brewed with actual Irish breakfast tea that is added to steep in the beer during the dry-hopping phase.
The beer is made exclusively in the U.S. was actually inspired by a story from a bartender who visited the Baltimore brewery talking about his childhood drinking tea with breakfast, which led to the beer's initial creation.
You can go HERE to learn more about the beer and plan your next trip to the Guinness Brewery in Maryland because you know they’re going to go all out for St. Patrick's day this year!
