A 31-year-old man Georgia man has been sentenced to three years in prison for using COVID-19 relief funds to buy a rare Charizard Pokémon card in 2020.The card cost more than $57,000.
The was charged has been sentenced to 36 months in federal prison, with no offer of parole, and was fined $10,000. He also has to pay back the $85,000 from which he stole and has agreed to forfeit the rare Pokémon card as part of his deal.
