According to a new study published by the academic journal Proceedings of the Royal Society B, attractive people actully have better immune systems. The theory behind this study was that there would be some correlation between a person’s attractiveness and their immune system because humans instinctually look to seek healthier mates.
For the study, the participants were asked to have their photo taken and blood tested. Participants had to keep a neutral face expression and the women were not allowed to wear make up.
After, other volunteers were asked to rate the attractiveness of the participants on the photos that were taken. The ratings were then cross-examined with the results from the blood tests.
