Are you going somewhere special/cooking something special with your partner for Valentine's Day today? If so, then you might want to avoid these foods if you're looking forward to bedroom time at any point today!
According to multiple nutritionists, these are some of the foods you might want to avoid if you want to be in the best shape for what may or may not happen in your bedroom tonight:
- Burgers and fries - This is a high fat, heavy meal that can make anyone feel tired and sluggish, and low energy levels can affect our moods and our sexual desire, which isn’t really what you want for Valentine’s night.
- Heavy carbs - If you’re hoping to recreate the romantic spaghetti and meatballs scene from “Lady and the Tramp,” you may want to rethink all that pasta. All those carbs are likely to leave you feeling lethargic instead of frisky.
- Beans - Beans can also leave you feeling bloated and gassy and that’s the last thing you want when you’re getting intimate.
- Chocolate - Make a light chocolate sauce to dip fruit into rather than eating heavy chocolate cake or brownies because they could make you feel bloated.
Now if you're looking for foods to INCREASE your libido then definitely try colorful fruits and veggies, which are not only lighter, but they also contain lots of antioxidants, vitamins, and minerals we need.
