If you had to think of the most popular type of pizza in the DMV, what would you pick? According to the Slice App, most of the DMV really loves white pizza!
The app revealed a map of every US state's favorite type of pizza and Maryland, Virginia, and DC all had "white pizza" ranked as their favorite type of pizza. Pennsylvania also had "white pizza" as their favorite pizza type and we're not 100% sure if this is referring to pizza with no sauce or just basic pizza with tomato sauce underneath.
You can see how the Slice App ranked every state's favorite pizza here, but they also found that the most popular days people order pizza are on holidays including Super Bowl Sunday (which should be a holiday), Halloween, Thanksgiving Eve, and New Year's Eve.
The same research also found that West Virginia is the state where customers ask for the most ranch dressing with pizza and we don't blame anyone in West Virginia because ranch is the perfect compliment sauce for pizza.
