Do you have a specific "type" when it comes to dating? According to a new report, three in four people admit to having a certain "type," which is what causes the new dating trend "groundhogging!"

"Groundhogging" is essentially when we try to date someone outside of our "type," but we realize that we'd rather stick with the partners we know we like even though we aren't finding anything.

Think of it like the movie Groundhog's Day where we just keep repeating the same dating cycle without any successful results and while this isn't necessarily a bad thing, it might be the reason why you're having trouble finding love.

So the next time you swipe right or left on someone just think to yourself if you should give something different a chance, but maybe start with small things like they're on the shorter end or have a different hair color than you normally like!
