A thread on Reddit asking the question, "What's the worst Christmas present you have received?" is getting a lot of interesting answers, but one woman really topped them all.
She revealed that someone she was dating wrapped up things he already used and gave them to her as a present. This was several years ago.
The first present was an MMA magazine, that had clearly been read. She's not even an MMA fan, but he was. The second gift was an opened DVD of Forrest Gump which she already had a copy of.
The woman revealed the man eventually revealed that he "got bored" so he watched the movie the day before giving it to her. Oh and the magazine? it was an issue he hadn't seen yet, so he "went ahead and read through it"
She returned the Garmin she got him the next day.
But wait, the story gets better (or worse). About a week later, he called and said he didn't think it was working out, she agreed. But before the call ended he said, quote, "Hey, uh, were you still going to give me that Christmas present?"
