David JP Philiips is a communication coach and he recently shared a video on Tiktok with a trick to stop yourself from overthinking.
It's a super simple psychological tip!
If you find yourself starting to overthink, David says to keep your eye balls still. Don't move your eyes. It's that simple.
How does this work? David goes on to say, quote, " in order for your brain to think and fetch memories, it needs to move your eyes and as you stop the moving, it won't be able to do the rumination it usually does."
