MONDAYS, they're not most people's favorite day of the week, which leads us to kind of dreading Sunday. Cue the Sunday Scaries.
You know that feeling of dread you get Sunday night before having to go back to work or school? Well you're not alone! A YouGov Poll discovered that:
- 14% of Americans who have work or school obligations admit to experiencing Sunday scaries every week.
- Another 15% say they get them most weeks, while 9% get them once a month.
- Folks in Gen Z (39%) and Millennials (38%) are the most likely to be getting Sunday scaries all or most weeks, while only 28% of Gen X and 15% of Baby Boomers say the same.
And while, the "Sunday Scaries" are STRONG for people who say they “hate” their jobs,” the dread isn't exclusive to them. 13% of people who love their job do admit to having Sunday Scaries each week.
