Did you know there are "sugar dating" apps? Because we didn't. But if you have an android, you won't be able to find them. Google announced that "Sugar dating" apps will no longer be allowed on the Android Play Store starting September 1st.
Google is making a series of policy changes. One of those is expanding on a policy currently in place that prohibits apps that promote, quote, “services that may be interpreted as providing sexual acts in exchange for compensation.” The update expands the definition to explicitly include, quote, “compensated dating or sexual arrangements where one participant is expected or implied to provide money, gifts or financial support to another participant (‘sugar dating’).”
