Have you ever heard of "lawnmower" parents? They've also been called "snowplow” parents or “bulldozer” parents. These nicknames refers to parents who essentially "mow" or "plow" through any obstacles or problems their kid might face, or prevent the problems from happening in the first place.
This story is an example of just that.
Yeah, you read that title right. A mom created a barricade in the road to FORCE drivers to stop at her kid's lemonade stand because cars weren't stopping. WHAT?! This seems super illegal.
The mom took to Facebook to write a post about the incident & basically reprimand those who didn't stop saying:
"Thank you to all who showed support for the twins today! As a general rule of etiquette for those who don't know: when you see children out having a lemonade stand, you stop.
"The lemonade most likely sucks and it's probably warm (possibly a bug floating in the ice), but you stop anyway because the children are cute and they don't understand why you aren't stopping when they are clearly asking you to stop!
"At one point I had to put up a barricade, forcing drivers to pull over and acknowledge my children. It should never have to come to this! Be a better citizen!"
It's safe to say, the internet was NOT on her side.
