Everyone seems to know the stereotype of being the "crazy cat lady" or growing up and being a lone with your cats. For some reason cat owners have always seemed to get the short end of the stick when it comes to that.
Good news: A study has proven there's no scientific evidence backing up the "crazy cat lady" stereotype.
Researchers at UCLA found that people who own cats . . . whether it's one cat or a whole bunch . . . didn't have any higher rate of mental or social problems than people with dogs, other pets, or no pets at all.
Quote, "Our findings do not fit with the notion of cat owners as more depressed, anxious, and alone."
