As we previously told you, earlier this year Lizzo called out a Postmates employee by name who she claimed had stolen her delivery order, only to later apologize when she was informed she was in the wrong. Well, now that Postmates employee is suing the singer.
Tiffany Wells has filed a lawsuit accusing Lizzo of defamation and intentional infliction of emotional distress. She claims that she did her best to try and locate Lizzo at her hotel, but eventually had to leave to deliver another order.
Wells says Lizzo’s post resulted in her receiving threats, and she eventually had to quit her job. She’s claiming the whole thing left her feeling stress, anxiety, humiliation and ridicule.
