If you are extremely tired, and short on time you might want to try this Navy Seal sleep trick that will leave you feeling refreshed after only 8 minutes. The technique was shared by Former Navy Seal Jocko Willink in his book, "Discipline Equals Freedom Field Manuel."
Here's how you do it:
- Get on the floor
- Put your feet up
- Set a timer for 8 minutes.
That's it. Apparently after the nap you will wake up refreshed.
Jock explained said on a podcast that you can set your alarm for 10 minutes at the most, maybe 12 but that 8 minutes was the sweet spot to not wake up groggy.
