19 year old, Emily Bhatnagar started For Love and Buttercup, a non-profit book drive for kids with cancer when she was just 17 years old after her father was diagnosed with stage four thyroid cancer. Since 2019, she has donated over 15,000 books to children undergoing cancer treatments.
Emily says she affords most books by using tips that she earn from working at her parents’ small bread shop, but a large portion of them also come from generous donations through her Amazon Wishlist
