If you sit all day at work, an "activity snack" can help improve your health. According to a new study, taking a short walk can help undo the negative impact on your health sitting for long periods of time can have.
The study found that those who took a 5 minute walk every 30 minutes had lower blood sugar and blood pressure compared to those who sat constantly. In fact, the research also found that even ONE minute every hour helped with blood pressure, but not blood sugar.
