Powerful Storm Soaks The Northeast
And mother nature strikes again.
Dangerous weather is pounding the Northeast. Parts of the Northeast are under a flood warning and streets are flooded in a number of places. More than four inches of rain has fallen in some locations so far. Close to 300,000 people have no electricity as fierce winds blow down trees and power lines.
Winds are expected to increase through the morning in New England. Wind gusts have topped out at 80 miles per hour so far. Hurricane-force wind warnings have been issued for the coastal waters from Rhode Island and southeastern Massachusetts to southern Maine.

LuLaRoe hit with $1 billion lawsuit
I know so many people who have LuLaRoe as a business. This sucks.
A class action seeking $1 billion has been filed in California against the company by former consultants alleging they were coaxed into a pyramid scheme. The suit alleges recruits were offered part-time and full-time pay for extra cash and pulled in through misinformation into a business model that was not profitable.

iPhone X screen repair: That'll be $275
Dang this phone is expensive.
The iPhone X hits store shelves November 3 and is Apple's most expensive phone yet. But repairs are more expensive, too.
A broken screen will set you back $275 according to repair costs posted to the Apple web site. For comparison, a screen repair for Apple's new $799 iPhone 8 Plus, costs $169.

The manufacturers of Bosch, Gaggenau, Jenn-Air and Thermador are recalling 469,000 units due to an issue with the power cord that can cause it to overheat and catch fire. The recall is an expansion of one from two years back that affected models from all four of the brands. To date, a total of 663,000 dishwashers have been recalled in the United States and Canada.

Plus-Size Resort Is Being Called a 'Sanctuary' For Self-Conscious Beachgoers
Well this is pretty cool.
"The Resort" is a secluded vacation spot available exclusively to plus-size guests that's located on Eleuthera Island in the Bahamas. It has five miles of private beach for guests to lounge on in peace, without worrying about harsh looks or side-eye from the public. One of the resort's foremost rules is to be respectful of your fellow guests.
"Our goal is to have a special place where you can relax, unwind and spend some quality time just being yourself," The Resort's facebook page reads.
