Royal Caribbean Cancels Cruise and Sends Ship to Help Hurricane Victims
Royal Caribbean for the win!
Royal Caribbean has cancelled one of its scheduled cruises and is instead using the vessel to aid Puerto Rico. Set to arrive yesterday, the 3,800 passenger cruise liner will be delivering supplies and evacuating people from the Caribbean island. Hurricane Maria hita little more than a week ago and Puerto Rico continues to suffer from flooding, lack of power, communication and damaged buildings.

RIP Hugh Hefner...
60 years after Marilyn Monroe appeared on the first issue of Playboy, Hugh Hefner being buried next to her. Hefner will be buried at Westwood Village Memorial Park in Los Angeles in the crypt next to Monroe, which he famously bought for $75,000 25 years ago.

The deal is helping with one of the most frustrating parts of the Ikea shopping experience: all those complicated assembly instructions. TaskRabbit maintains an online marketplace that connects people with contract workers to perform any manner of odd jobs.

Facebook Is Helping To Get Puerto Rico Back Online Following Hurricane Maria
Facebook is actually being used for something other than just searching through timelines...
Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg announced that in addition to doing everything they could to get people connected to the internet, his company would also be donating $1.5 million to NetHope and Wolrd Food Programme for relief efforts.
Zuckerberg said "We're working to get Puerto Rico back online. We're sending the Facebook connectivity team to deliver emergency telecommunications assistance to get the systems up and running."
