Well this was a first...
Even though being a mom tends to make most people pretty domesticated, my "domesticated goddess status" didn't automatically kick in when I popped out a kid. But yesterday was a straight Martha Stewart special in the Couture household.
Last weekend I took him to Butler's Orchard to pick some fresh raspberries and apples. It was the most adorable day after. Except for the fact that he wanted to eat half the bucket before we got back to the car. I mean they are organic right?
It's days like this that make me realize that everything happens for a reason and somehow it's all gonna be ok. There's nothing that I wouldn't do for you baby but it's nice to know that we don't always have to walk this path alone. #WeGotThis 💙 . . . #bultersorchard #cheerstoperfectdays #hopeful #pennyforyourthoughts
If you haven't done an outing like this with your littles I recommend it for sure! After we were done picking all of the yummy fruit we moved on over to the veggie/flower side of the orchard and this is were mommy got super excited.
I've never had a garden so the idea of picking fresh vegetables had me giddy. The bananas peppers caught my eye and in my excitement I gather up more than I knew what to do with. What do do with all of them? Pinterest to the rescue!
I followed this super simple recipe and I cant wait to tastes my DIY pickled peppers on my sammy at lunch today!!
Felling all domesticated and stuff. I'm thinking that pickles are next!
Have a great day peeps!
