Hurricane Harvey Was The Fiercest Storm In Over A Decade

Hurricane Harvey has now been downgraded to a tropical storm but it tore through Texas with the fierceness that is unlike anything we have ever seen. The storm causes catastrophic flooding with 130 mph winds and 30 inches of rain. What's worse is that it is expected to get much worse. Up to 50 inches of rain is expected in the next few days.
The death toll right now is reported at 5 people with 14 injuries. At last check 2,500 rescues have happened and 3,000 National Guards groups have been deployed to help.

Fallout From Mayweather-McGregor, the Fight of the Century
In his return from a two-year retirement, Floyd Mayweather improved to 50-0 with a 10th-round TKO over Conor McGregor. This was McGregor's first time in the ring as a pro-boxed and after the win Mayweather says he won't fight again.
Some Mayweather and McGregor fans purchased the fight at home for $99.95 were told they would not get a refund after cable outages caused the fight to be delayed.

Facebook quietly added new diverse family emoji
Fcebook just released a bunch of diverse family emoji recently with skin tones that range from light to dark in recent months.
The 125 new family emoji options mark the first time black families have been represented as emoji on Facebook. So COOl! Right now the emoji are only available for desktop and there's no word on when they will go mobile.

Controversial Cheerleading Coach Fired In Denver
This video was so incredibly disturbing.
A Denver cheerleading coach is out of a job after video was released of him forcing cheerleaders down into a split. A recently released video from June shows Ozell Williams performing a "forced split technique" with about eight cheerleaders from East High School.
Boasberg explained four other school officials, including the principal and athletic director, remain on leave pending the outcome of both investigations. So far, no charges have been filed.
