Ride Investigation Underway, But State Fair Will Go On
This story is just so scary and tragic.
Most activities at The Ohio State Fair resumed last night despite a ride malfunction that killed a man and injured seven others.
"Ohio Gov. John Kasich says the "victims and families will not be forgotten" and that an investigation into the cause of the crash will be complete and thorough. The Ohio State Patrol and inspectors from the Ohio Department of Agriculture are in the process of re-inspecting the rides. Kasich said he reached out last night to families of the victims."

Warning Issued Over Tainted Booze At Mexican Resort
If you're traveling to Mexico anytime soon you might want to beware the tequila.
The U.S. State Department is warning tourists going to Mexico about reports of tainted or substandard alcohol causing drinkers to become sick or pass out. In January, a 20-year-old Wisconsin woman vacationing in Mexico with her family died after she was drinking at a resort pool. The warning advises tourists to drink in moderation and seek medical attention if they begin to feel ill.

Florida School District Bans Homework, Says To Read Instead
Where was this rule when I was in school??
Florida’s Marion County School District will be banning daily homework assignments in elementary schools starting in fall 2017. Students will be asked to read for 20 minutes every night. Students will be allowed to choose their own reading material, and teachers, libraries and volunteers will provide guidance.

PETA Is Trying To Ban Tiger Selfies From Tinder
Might wanna change your Tinder profile pics folks.
International Tiger Day on Saturday, so animal PETA has called on Tinder’s co-founder Sean Rad to ban the use of tiger selfies. “Now is the perfect time to help protect pussies by banning the most selfish selfie of all,” the letter read. The letter suggested “taking the tiger stripes out of swipes” would be a positive step in ensuring cruelty to animals not be promoted in modern-day dating.
