Before the concert, her manager Scooter Braun took to social media to share their reasons for going on with the concert, saying, “After the events last night in London, and those in Manchester just two weeks ago, we feel a sense of responsibility to honor those lost, injured, and affected. We ask the strong city of Manchester and the world to join us in making the statement that hatred and fear will never win. Today we stand together. Thank you.”

During the 3 hours of the concert over $3 million dollars were raised with a total of $12 million dollars so far for the One Love Manchester Emergency fund. Its also been announced that Ariana Grande's record label Universal Musical Group is donating $500,000.

One of the many touching moments of the concert was when police officers began holding hands and dancing with some children who were attending.
