A maid of honor found the perfect way to surprise her chicken nugget-loving bride on her wedding day and she got Tyson Foods to help her pull it off.Jenna Spetz says her cousin, Blair Hardy, has always LOVED dino nuggets and since her groom’s last name is Tyson, she wanted to find a way to bring her two passions together.
Spetz says she contacted Tyson Foods, not really expecting anything but an auto-reply from customer service, but their PR department reached out with ideas. They came up with an idea for a bouquet made from chicken nuggets, which the maid of honor presented to the bride and based on the photos posted on Instagram, the bride was beyond thrilled with her one-of-a-kind gift.
Tyson Foods’ president and CEO Noel White also wrote Hardy a letter to congratulate her on her nuptials. He writes that the first year of marriage can be challenging and offers a “few bite-sized pieces of advice,” including:
- Always begin and end each day with kisses and nugs
- Remind each other how dino-mite you are together
- Never go to bed angry (unless he ate the last nugget)
Tyson Foods also sent a year’s worth of Tyson Fun Nuggets as a wedding gift for the happy couple. And Spetz says the bride was “grinning from ear to ear and giggling,” so the chicken nugget surprise was a big hit.
