People are are taking a scene from reality TV (usually an argument) and dubbing audio over it of them saying the exact line but in a softer tone. This creates a hilarious effect that is taking over the internet!
The earliest known version of the format was posted by Redditor number1chiquitadave on May 25th, 2019. That day, in a thread titled "A first stab at a silly project I'm working on," the Redditor posted a remix of a scene from the reality television series RuPaul's Dragrace. Within one month, the video received more than 795 points (97% upvoted) and 45 comments
