It’s October and that means: PSL’s, leaves changing colors, cuffing season and…HAUNTED HOUSES!
This week for Javi in the Streets, Alex and I take a trip to Poolesville, Maryland to visit the infamous Markoff’s Haunted Forest. Started 25 years ago by three brothers, “Markoff’s Haunted Forest is Maryland’s original greatest Halloween event”. Offering three terrifying haunted trail experiences, Markoff’s is the place to be. Check out all they have going on!
If being chased by the things that go “BUMP” in the night is not your thing, Markoff offers plenty of activities including a zipline, games and giant bonfires to keep you warm while your friends scream in the darkened woods.
If that isn’t enough to get you to go, your screams of terror are going to a good cause! Markoff’s was started to raise funds for Calleva, a non-profit organization that introduces kids and teens to Outdoor education and teaches them “to achieve their very best in every activity”. To learn more about the great work Calleva does, check them out below!
