Music legend Elton John said he found Khalid's music a little while back and was instantly a fan. They met recently in Khalid's hometown of El Paso, Texas while Elton's been on tour and hit it off. It was only a matter of time before they'd get together to collaborate on a sick cover of "Young Dumb & Broke" at the Colosseum at Caesar's Palace in Las Vegas.
Elton told Rolling Stone magazine "It’s a thrill to be a small part of any new artists’ journey, and it’s been wonderful to see his star continue to rise and rise. ‘Young Dumb & Broke’ is a fabulous song, one of my favorites, and I’m really pleased that he liked my cover enough to contribute vocals."
