UPDATE: 2/13/18 at 2:20pm
Some friends were FINALLY able to speak with Kim! Details are sparse, but she's been working (she works remotely) and she finally contacted friends. I don't know the details of why she's been literally M.I.A. but I'm sure that will come out soon. I want to thank everyone who kept an eye out and commented with clues and sightings. That helped so much!! We're glad Kim is safe and look forward to figuring out what the heck happened!
----------ORIGINAL POST BELOW-----------
My friend Kim (pictured on the left above) is missing and hopefully, with enough sharing, we can help bring her home. I went to high school with Kim in Essex, MD at Eastern Technical. Kim was a great friend - always a smile on her face - always someone who was up to have fun.
We've lost close touch through the years, but always kept in contact on Facebook. She even paid a surprise visit here at the radio station about a year ago. She looked great and it was so good to see that smile again in person.
Late Thursday night, around Midnight, was the last time any of her friends heard from her. She had a few things going on in her personal life that have created a cause for concern to locate her as quickly as possible. Her phone just goes right to voicemail and a missing persons' report has been filed.
Additional info from the Facebook post above:
Kimmie is 40 years old. Last known location is the Brooklyn, MD area. However, she works for a company that has her drive to different locations. Some include; Essex, Middle River, Ferndale, cockeysville, lutherville, and many more. Kimmie has lived in Baltimore, Maryland most of her life but has also has resided in Pennsylvania. When I saw Kim last she was wearing jeans, tennis shoes (sketchers), and a light colored top.Vehicle is a light silver Nissan Murano. Kimmie's address is residing in Essex, MD but has been staying with a friend in Brooklyn, MD
Long blonde hair, medium build, she does have a tattoo.
Have you seen Kim? If so, please drop a note in the comments and help us bring her home.

Still haven't heard from Kim. Her friends are worried sick, as are her children, who as it turns out, haven't heard from her in almost two weeks. Here's the latest update below:
No word yet. I have called the police and still no word on their end as well. It is now officially 96 hours since the report was made so, it should be going to the Missing Person's Unit. I am waiting for an officer to come to the house. I have contacted through email the Missing Person's in Reistertown and I have email WJZ the information. I will let you know if I hear anything. Please keep praying for Kimberly Smith and that she is safe and will return home safely. I am posting more pictures. Crystal Miller maybe we can update the Missing flier. I cannot tag everyone because so many have reached out. I will keep posting as much as I can. Thank you all for your support and showing all the love for our loved friend who is truly missed. Keep sharing.
